How to Design a fabidoo?

Designing your own fabidoo is simple. Here is how to:

  1. Start by navigating to the 'Design' page and choose a fabidoo type - like the Fanimal.

  2. On the next page you'll see the fabidoo editor. Select a side of the fabido with the navigation on the upper left side:

  3. On the right side of the editor you'll find controls to change the selected side in form and color and apply images and text to it. Change the form by choosing between available variants:

    Note, that not all fabidoo types support side variants.

  4. Changing the color of a side is always possible. Click the 'Color' tab and use the set of predefined pencils or the color-wheel. You could also use the pipette to take up an existing color:

  5. Add an image to the selected side by clicking on the 'Image' tab. Either upload a new image by pressing 'Upload image' or choose from an existing one by clicking 'My images' or 'Image gallery'. The latter takes you to a library of predefined images.

    To position, scale and rotate the image either use the buttons or directly use the mouse by clicking and moving the image or the controls around it.

  6. You can add text which is layered above the image with the little text-editor on the 'Text' tab. To place images above any text, use the 'Frame' tab to add images instead of the 'Image' tab.

  7. If you are satisfied with your custom made fabidoo now, save it as a new version or overwrite an existing versions using the buttons at the bottom of the editor:
