  1. Why are those lovely fabidoos sold out?

    We've put the production of fabidoos on hold until we find a 3D print company capable of handling things fo us. If you have a recommendation for a good 3D print service, feel free to contact us via email: info (at) fabidoo (dot) com.

  2. What can I use a fabidoo for?

    A fabidoo is an ideal gift for many occasions like Valentine’s Day or birthday. Because a fabidoo is personally designed by you, the receiver's surprise will be way different from what you get with a mass-production article.

    But a fabidoo is also something great for your own use: e.g. as an individual key-ring or a deco item for home, school or office. Or you can carry it around all the time by using it as a zipper, attaching it to your mobile or wearing it around your neck with a lanyard.

  3. How long does it take until my fabidoo gets delivered?

    The production of your fabidoo is done by a revolutionary Rapid-Manufacturing process - called 3D printing - which takes about 3 days including the necessary post processing steps. After production we dispatch the fabidoos by mail from Germany which can take some more time depending on where you live.

    According to our Terms and conditions we guarantee shipment within three weeks, but most of the time it'll be much faster than that.

  4. Is it possible to get objects produced apart from the figures available at your site?

    At fabidoo we focus on providing a platform which allows users to build individual objects in an easy and intuitive way. This is done by providing templates which clients can use and modify to achieve results quickly.

    The collection of fabidoo figures is extended continuously taking customer requests into account. If you have any idea for an appealing figure we would be glad to hear from you.

  5. Do you offer a bulk discount when I order more than one fabidoo in one single order?

    All fabidoos are produced individually - they don't just drop from some conveyor belt and so they really don't get cheaper when produced on a larger scale. Nevertheless, if you're planning to order larger quantities, you should contact us and we'll see what we can do.

  6. What do I have to keep in mind when uploading an image to use for a fabidoo?

    When uploading images you have to avoid any violations of copyrights, trademarks or personality rights.

    Regarding copyright issues you are on the safe side, when the motif of the image is either designed by yourself or you've acquired a valid license from the originator of the motif. To respect personality rights, you should upload images portraying people only if you have the consent of the people photographed. Furthermore, we will not tolerate images with offensive or forbidden motifs or those which could offend religious feelings.

  7. How can I bring multiple colors onto one shape?

    In addition to the colleciton of pictures in our gallery you can create your own images, upload them to fabidoo, and assign them to a shape:

    Use a drawing program of your choice - for instance Microsoft Paint™, or Inkscape™ http://www.inkscape.org (©, ® with the corresponding producer) and upload the images created this way to fabidoo. How you assign an image to a shape is explained in our editor guide.
