Production Process 3D-Printing
Your fabidoo gets materialized by a 3D-Printer. This sounds like science-tiction but is really works!
Welcome to the 21st century!
The printing process: We 'beam' your fabidoo
The 3D-printer builds your fabidoo layer by layer. Every layer is processed like on a standard 2D ink-jet printer, but instead of printing on paper, plaster powder is used. When a layer is ready, a new powder layer is spread on top of the old one and printed on again.
When all layers are ready, the remaining powder, which was not imprinted, is removed and the materialized fabidoo comes alive:
Finishing: Made in Germany
The printed fabidoo (1) is then refined:
- It becomes hard on account of a resin infiltration (2)
- It gets its glossy surface finish (3)
- Optional features like the Metal snap link (3) are attached
